The Worlds Of ‘Unbreakable’ And ‘Split’ Collide In First Trailer For ‘Glass’

It’s all happening at Comic-Con right now because earlier today M. Night Shyamalan, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, Sarah Paulson, and Anya Taylor-Joy fronted a panel at the San Diego convention to unleash the first official trailer for Glass.

In a nutshell, Glass combines the frontmen from Unbreakable and Split. So you have Jackson as the eccentric and obsessive Elijah Price, Willis as superhuman David Dunn, and James McAvoy as Kevin, incredibly creepy person with 24 personalities.

Extreme hype for this film first begun the moment people clasped eyes on the cheeky cameo Shyamalan decided to chuck in at the end of Split – a cameo showing Willis as David Dunn.

Unbreakable graced cinemas back in 2000 so this was a very nice surprise.

Fast forward through all the fan and critic approval for Split and we now have our first real look at Glass.

The trailer immediately introduces us to a totally not creepy psychiatrist Dr. Ellie Staple (Paulson) who’s interested in a particular “delusion of grandeur” and then she looks at us and says “I specialise in individuals who believe they are superheroes.”

We also see the return of Taylor-Joy’s character, Casey Cooke, as she tries to talk to one of Kevin’s personalities by the name of Hedwig, a 9-year-old boy.

You can catch the trailer, below:

Well, that’s definitely on the list.

Glass will hit cinemas January 2019.

Unfortunately, McAvoy couldn’t make the panel because the poor lad’s currently under the weather but that didn’t stop him from posting a sweet Insta:

The 39-year-old’s currently working on this other teeny tiny project by the name of IT: Chapter Two where he’ll portray a grown up Bill Denbrough alongside Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, and Jay Ryan just to name a few.

In other Comic-Con news, if you’re a fan of the Fantastic Beasts franchise then expect a new trailer in the coming hours.
