The days of boorishly expressing an exaggerated version of your current emotional state with a standard yellow smiley face are over thanks to the world’s most dedicated Seinfeld fan, Kevin McCauley, the perverse pop culture wizard behind the Seinfeld 2000 Twitter account and co-inventor of a Seinfeld inspired emoji set lovingly designed to revolutionise the way we lazily communicate with each other.
According to this Instagram post, an exclusive set of 42 Seinfeld emojis, Sein-Language if you will, is coming soon, including appearances from Retro Jerry, Modern Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer, cult peripheral players (Frank Costanza, Uncle Leo, Jackie Chiles) and the show’s most iconic inanimate objects (pez dispenser, marble rye, junior mints, puffy shirt).
Festivus, Seinfeld fans, has clearly come early.
