Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek has seemingly confirmed his relationship with co-star Lucy Boynton in yet another example of ~ Life Imitating Art ~.

Malek, who stars as Queen‘s Freddie Mercury in the biopic, was accepting the Breakthrough Performance Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Award Gala when he took a moment to thank Boynton in his speech.
“Thank you, Lucy Boynton,” Malek said according to People. “You have been my ally, my confidant, you are my love. I appreciate you so much.”
Well, that’s a bit sweet.
Boynton stars as Mary Austin in the biopic, Mercury’s dear friend and lover and the woman who inspired the stunning song ‘Love Of My Life’.
The duo first sparked dating rumours back in August when they were papped having lunch together in Los Angeles. Of course, a lunch can just be a lunch but the two were later spotted having a smooch.
Earlier in the year, Malek and Boynton were also seen together at a U2 concert.
Malek’s performance in Bohemian Rhapsody scored him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, his third Golden Globe nomination ever and first for a motion picture. The awards ceremony will air Sunday, January 6 on NBC.
