With less than a week to go ’til Hollywood’s night of nights, The Golden Globes, A+ co-hosting duo Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh are all geared up and ready to bring the LOLs, as seen in freshly released promo vids.

In one of the clips, the pair introduce themselves as “best friends” and work on perfecting their “best friend handshake”, only to later admit that they just met.

In the second video, the pair stand back-to-back and spew swanky words that are seemingly meant to describe what the show will consist of, including celebrities, accolades, gold, style, glitter, music, dogs and slap fights (?).
To their credit, a dog does appear at the conclusion of the teaser after a woman with a French accent announces the air date.
Weird flex, but extremely ok.

NBC‘s announcement that the acting duo had been hired to host the award ceremony was met with universal applause.
Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks, co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment, said:

The 76th Golden Globe awards are scheduled for Monday, January 7th Australian time, with the ceremony commencing at midday AEDT.
