Arguably the biggest cinematic point of discussion over the past year was Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga‘s flick A Star Is Born which was always destined to clean up at the Golden Globes and guess what fam? We bloody well did it.

The critically acclaimed flick scored a cool five nominations including Best Drama Film, Best Actor (Bradley Cooper), Best Actress (Lady Gaga), Best Director (Bradley Cooper) and Best Original Song (‘Shallow’).

Bradley Cooper, who received two noms, said in a statement, “I am very grateful A Star is Born has touched so many people and to the Hollywood foreign press for recognising our film with such abundance. I’ve wanted to tell stories through film for as long as I can remember and I feel lucky even to have had the opportunity to do that – to be included in a community of such inspiring artists is incredibly humbling. A huge congrats to all of this morning’s nominees and especially to my dear friend, Lady Gaga.”

American biographical comedy-drama Vice scored the most nominations, however, with a total of six. The film stars Christian Bale as Dick Cheney along with Amy Adams, Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell, Alison Pill and Jesse Plemons in supporting roles.
