We know you don’t need any reminding but the inaugural season of the Stan Original RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under is hitting our screens today and hoo boy, we are excited. But while it might be the first time the queens sashay down the runway in our neck of the woods, it doesn’t mean you won’t see some familiar faces.
The always-iconic Michelle Visage will, as always, be front and centre on the judging panel with RuPaul, and they’ll be joined by Australian comedian, Rhys Nicholson, plus a rotating roster of guest judges each week. We should count ourselves lucky too, since of the seven international franchises of Drag Race, the Australian and New Zealand iteration is only the second (after the UK) to be judged by the American duo.
You better believe we’ll be tuning in every week to see our two countries come together (and, ahem, battle it out) to crown the very first Drag Race Superstar from Down Under. Start your engines, team, it’s time to werk.
Luckily for you (and us), we’ll be speaking with every single queen after they sashay away to ask all the burning questions we can think of. And that’s where we want you to help.
