DON’T PANIC but, if you missed it, it turns out for some wacky reason the Pokémon GO iOS app decided it absolutely needed all of the permissions a google account can offer.
Why the game needed to be able to go through your search history and send emails on your behalf is beyond me but the moment it got pointed out to them they started working on releasing a fix.
According to the developers they weren’t doing anything ~unscrupulous~ with it anyway but they’ve now made sure they actually can’t.
If you’re really worried about what they’re doing with your shit why not make a burner account to use the game? I’m sure ‘SexyPokemonLover69@gmail.com‘ and ‘HotPokemonGoGuy420@gmail.com‘ are still available.
