Prince William Denies Reports That He Disapproved Of Meghan Markle Statement

Kensington Palace has issued a practically unprecedented second statement about Prince Harry‘s love life, which is obviously headline news at the moment vis-à-vis a certain actress by the name of Meghan Markle.

As you’ve no doubt read, the palace issued a statement recently confirming the prince’s relationship with Markle, asking tabloids and paparazzi to back the hell off.

It’s now issued a second one via The Telegraph, confirming that – contrary to multiple news reports – Prince William approved of the first statement.

“The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him,”
the second statement reads, confirming the brothers had a “heart-to-heart” before issuing the first.

A royal source told The Telegraph that William and Harry, much like B1 and B2, would never do something like issue a statement on their smang friends without consulting the other.

“They don’t issue statements like that without talking to each other, and they talked about the Meghan Markle statement extensively in advance of it being put out,”
the source said.

“The Duke was as alarmed as anyone about what was happening with Meghan.

“No-one wanted to have to put that statement out, including Prince Harry, and there was concern about confirming the relationship.

“But over the course of one weekend things escalated to the extent that Prince Harry felt he had to act.”

Hot tip: if you wanna get Kensington House to confirm something in writing, continue to report the exact opposite.
