Police Catch MMA Fighter who Viciously Attacked Girlfriend

Jonathan Koppenhaver, the MMA fighter who legally changed his name to War Machine, has finally been arrested, following a week-long manhunt after his vicious assault of girlfriend Christy Mack

FOX Sports report that Koppenhaver is in prison in California, and is awaiting extradition to Nevada. He currently has seven warrants out for his arrest, five of which are for alleged felonies.
War Machine came to the world’s attention last week after he savagely beat Mack, an adult film star, at her Las Vegas home. The couple had broken up in May, and when he arrived unexpectedly to find her with another man, he assaulted both.
Mack released a statement giving a harrowing account of the attack, which left her with 18 broken bones around her eyes, missing teeth, multiple fractures and a ruptured liver.
U.S. Marshals found War Machine holed up in a hotel with “a small amount of cash and pizza” and say that he did not put up a fight when arrested. Police had previously removed a number of exotic pets from his San Diego home.
While this is all still beyond terrible, hopefully some justice will be done.
