Talk about being pipped to the post…
The Royal Wedding went off spectacularly last night, and we know you were all watching for the voluminous number of Australian-based tweets that threatened to break the Internet as soon as everyone realised that Kate Middleton really was going to be wearing a McQueen dress.
But it seems that the new Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t the only focus of the event, as every male with an Iphone went absolutely ballistic as Middleton’s 27 year-old sister (and Maid of Honour), Pippa, emerged from an accompanying carriage in a totally flattering outfit that broke with convention by actually allowing a British person to look sexually attractive.
With her own tending hashtag (#teampippa) and more new Facebook shrines than Casey The Punisher (including a particularly popular one dedicated to her derriere), Pippa Middleton is certainly hot property and certainly gave enthusiasts something to talk about in the hour it took the actual stars of the show to get from the church to the balcony. Of course, everyone was hoping she’d hook-up with Prince Harry at the after-party and bring everything full circle. Or perhaps she’ll stay single for us.
One can only dream.
