After a harrowing ordeal in the season’s penultimate episode, Pia Miranda has managed to walk away from the show with a cool half a million dollars and a big gold trophy with Jonathan LaPaglia’s face on it (that last part might not be true, but the rest of it is).
A gruelling immunity challenge won by Baden saw Harry given the boot, with Pia and Baden pleading their cases to the jury, which ultimately unanimously voted for Pia.

WELL DONE PIA! I knew if she made final two against either boy she would win. She went Looking for Alibrandi and she found Scarface! A clever, strategic game #SurvivorAU

In this game you don’t need to be the best overall player to take out the big prize. You just need to be the most strategic. Pia’s two big moves worked – taking out the people’s emotional favourite and then outacting the introvert at jury pitch #SurvivorAU

#SurvivorAU how the hell did Baden think he could beat Pia???? I thought he was a PHD?? The worst move on survivor history of any season, any region. Absolutely staggering. But in saying that, a great season. Congrats #SurvivorAU

What a masterclass of a final tribal by @_PiaMiranda … a worthy winner who could articulate her exceptional gameplay perfectly. Top tier social and strategic player. What a season. 👏 👏 👏 👑 🔥 🌴 #SurvivorAU pic.twitter.com/EIdmkWXX5I

Miranda reckons she’ll be using the cash to pay off her mortgage, which is not as thrilling as, say, Scrooge McDucking into a pile of cash, but still pretty dope.
