‘Outlander’ Cops S3 Release Date & A Bunch Of Heartbreaking AF Images

‘Outlander‘, the time-travelling romance specifically designed to make all other potential romantic interests look like dogshit in comparison, is officially back September 10.

Starz has now released a bunch of Season 3 new pics that will basically pulverise fans’ hearts into little squishy bits.

You’ve got Jamie (Sam Heughan) stuck in the 18th century, battling Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) at the battle of Culloden and trying to deal with his grief at losing Claire (Catriona Balfe).

You’ve got Claire welcoming in the birth of her child Brianna not with the father, Jamie, but with her 20th century husband Frank Randall, a descendant of Jack (and also played by Menzies).

And then you’ve got both of them, tragically clutching at the stone that separates them.

Claire spends a lot of this season in the Jackie Kennedy-inspired fashion of the 60s. Balfe told Vanity Fair that she did not miss the corsets or bum roll of her 18th century costume “for one second” and tbh, same.

But the separation is real – even while filming.

“Honestly, it’s like having a death in the family,” Heughan told Vanity Fair of filming without Balfe. “It’s always hard when we’re apart, actually, because she’s a great person, great to work with, and a very good actress. But I think it all adds to the reunion – if there’s a reunion, or when there’s a reunion – well you know there’s one in the books. It should be very special.”
