Oprah Enables Lindsay Lohan’s Recovery With Post-Rehab Reality Series, Interview

America’s doe-eyed emoticon Lindsay Lohan has been offered the chance of internationally televised redemption by someone who should really know better at this point, Oprah Winfrey.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Oprah has secured an exclusive sit-down interview with Lohan as part of the former’s Next Chapter series, which has previously aired high-profile interviews with Rihanna and Lance Armstrong. The tête-à-tête is scheduled to tape and air in August following LiLo’s taking leave from the Betty Ford Center. Following that, Winfrey’s OWN network have signed Lohan for an eight episode docu-series that promises to follow Lindsay’s life “as she works to rebuild her career and stay healthy,” airing in 2014.
From the horse’s mouth: “OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014.”
Lindsay, who turned twenty-seven earlier this month, is in the home stretch of her court-ordered 90-day rehabilitation program, due to finish on July 31st. Having previously starred in E!’s Living Lohan in 2008 and most recently playing a thinly-veiled version of herself in The Canyons, Lindsay – this generation’s Norma Jean – is no stranger to drama, docu and otherwise
Prior to entering rehab on May 2nd, David Letterman was a dick to a self-deprecating Lindsay and made her cry on the Late Show
Still rooting for you Cady ;{}
