Offspring‘s tumultuous fourth season was one of incredible highs that finished on a devastating low. Nina‘s pregnancy and relationship with Patrick hit the ultimate roadblock when Patrick was hit by a car and subsequently died from a brain injury. The shockwaves that went through Australian viewing audiences were unprecedented.
But now, there’s new hope for life after Patrick for Nina, as this first look at the show’s fifth season shows. The teaser deals with Nina and child attempting to move on and continue living in the face of the tragedy. And there is life, and hope and possibly love in store for the beloved Proudman and her daughter.
The series premieres on Ten later after Easter, and will see guest stars including, but not limited to, Chrissie Swan, Ray Martin, and Patrick Brammall from ABC’s hit comedy The Moodys.
