New Borderlands Game Features An Anthropomorphic Shotgun That Talks Like An Aussie Bogan

From NPCs with thick Aussie accents to cricket-themed side missions, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!, the latest development in the intergalactic first person shooter series developed Down Under by 2K Australia, abounds with patriotic references to Australia’s culture, people and speech patterns.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in Boganella, an irreverent anthropomorphic shotgun voiced by Sydney actress Elle Dawe (Housos, Bogan Hunters), notable for not only spitting forth armour piercing shotgun shells, but an impressive selection of things one might hear at Dapto train station.
From “Get that f***ing up ya!” and “Ha! Ya f**kin’ wanker!”, to “Hoo roo! See ya darls!” and the immortal, Don’t stop, you c***!”, her lineage is indisputable.
This. Is. Australia.
