We blogged about the first incarnation of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland trailer earlier this year and now Disney have released a longer, darker version to rekindle our interest in rabbit holes and thinly veiled drug references.
The positives? Aussie actress Mia Wasikowska does the title role justice while Burton favourites Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are wonderfully devilish as The Mad Hatter and Queen Of Hearts respectively. Negatives? The Cheshire Cat couldn’t look faker unless he was composed of balls of thread, glue and wishful thinking. Seriously, they should have transferred some cash from Johnny Depp’s orange hair dye budget to the Cheshire Cat CGI fund.
