Watch the Brand New Trailer for Tim Burton’s Big Eyes

Tim Burton‘s new film looks notable for a number of reasons – mainly, that it does not contain any traces of Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter, and that it takes place in a world free of vampires and other such supernatural what-have-you.

Big Eyes, which stars Amy Adams, Christoph Waltz, Krysten ‘Don’t Trust The B‘ Ritter and Jason Schwartzman, is a drama about the ’50s kitsch artist Margaret Keane, whose husband falsely claimed credit for her huge and very popular output of paintings.
The film is out Christmas Day in the U.S., and kinda looks like a complete change of pace for old mate Burton … no shade on Dark Shadows and its gravity-defying sex scene, but that’s something we can heartily endorse.
