Netflix Unveils Its July Release Schedule & It’s Chock Full Of Winter Warmers

Winter ain’t just coming anymore, winter is bloody well here, mates. And with it, all the treasures that Netflix has in store for you.

The streaming wunderkinds have unveiled their slate of releases that’s set to hit your screens throughout July, and those rainy, chilly days and nights suddenly have a bunch of good gear to fill it with.

We already know that the Fast & Furious franchise is roaring onto screens next month, but we now know that it’ll happen right at the stroke of July, on the very first day. Rejoice accordingly.

Elsewhere, the long-awaited sixth season of Orange is the New Black hits screens in full come July 27th. That one’s a “circle the date in the calendar“-type deal. Prepare yourselves.

Elsewhere, there’s a whole smattering of new Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee landing on July 6th, if an insanely boring rich man showing off his cars and whinging about how college kids don’t find him funny anymore while an objectively more-talented guest smiles politely sounds like your kind of thing.

There’s also a new instalment of the really quite good Last Chance U coming in July in two halves, which is great if you love combining sports with abject misery and heartbreak. Which you should. Because sport is the best thing in the world.

But that’s not all! There’s only bloody Superbad and Pineapple Express and Practical Magic and The Day After Tomorrow and Ghost Rider and Once Upon A Time In Mexico and a new stand-up special from Iliza Shlesinger and I guess technically Jim Jeffries as well and heaps bloody more.

You’d be a bit of a fool to not find something good in this lot. Little something in here for everyone.
