NBC’s new mid-season lineup has been announced (television’s version of bumping the needle and yelling reeeemmiixx!!!!) and while we welcome the return of Liz Lemon, Tracy Jordan and
30 Rock, we’re less than pleased with the omission of Thursday night staple
Community which has been bumped until further notice for reasons which are vague but definitely have something to do with the show’s ratings or lack thereof. This doesn’t necessarily mean it’s cancelled (
The Futon Critic notes that all 22 episodes will be shot and aired this season) but it doesn’t bode well for future seasons of
Dan Harmon’s lowly rated but critically acclaimed comedy (or it’s loveable inhabitants). More info as it arises. Hang in there, Greendale.
