What’s that sound? Oh yeah, the collective cries of the male population. I used to like Devendra Barnhart he was that kooky guy that made kooky psych-folk, dressed really weirdly, and sometimes wore eyeliner. He was totally individual and that’s what I liked about him. Then he had to go and do the most unoriginal thing ever and date Natalie Portman, and now I kind of hate the guy. Not that dating Natalie Portman is commonplace but being completely smitten with her is – from teenage boys to stay at home mums everyone loves Natalie Portman. And don’t get me wrong – I’m basing my newfound hate for Devendra on the fact that he lost all his originality (not for my raging jealousy that he’s getting cosy with my ultimate celebrity crush) or at least that’s what I tell myself…
