We can now confirm two things: the Point Break remake will feature proper action and shit and Warchild did eventually back off – SRSLY – and will sadly not reappear in the new film.

The filmmakers responsible knew that you can’t just call a fucking time out and paddle back in, and so have reimagined the 50-year storm with Home and Away alumni Luke Bracey as Keanu Reeves as Johnny Utah. He will be joined by Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez (as Patrick Swayze as Bodhi), Teresa Palmer as Samsara and Ray Winstone as his agency partner, originally played by Gary Busey and his meatball sandwiches.
