MKR: Mystery Judge Revealed As ‘Little Paris Kitchen’ Chef Rachel Khoo

As the nation girds its loins for whatever awful thing Jess is going to do tonight – srsly, you guys, she’s the worst – the producers of My Kitchen Rules have revealed the identity of the show’s much-discussed mystery judge.
Earlier today, they announced that U.K. chef Rachel Khoo, author of the best-selling ‘Little Paris Kitchen’, will be joining Colin Fassnidge in presiding over the third round of instant restaurants.
Khoo famously gave up a job in fashion marketing to move to Paris and write a cookbook, and then parlayed that into a TV series when she gave BBC producers a basket of home-made muffins.
Her first foray into Australian TV came last year on SBS, with Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook Melbourne, and it was during the filming of this series that MKR approached her.
She said of her upcoming four-episode stint on the series:

“I couldn’t really believe they wanted me on the show. My TV shows are about travelling and my cooking, whereas this is about going into people’s homes, discovering what the rest of Australia cooks … It was really great to have a sneak peek in people’s kitchens and see what people are passionate about cooking at home here, what excites them and the joy they get from entertaining.”
Whatever Rachel Khoo brings to the proverbial literal table, she’ll have a long way to go to beat beautiful nightmare Zana as the breakout star of MKR 2016
The next episode of the series airs tonight.
