The nadir of reality television is upon us guys. WAG Nation, FOX8’s fly-on-the-wall series about the adequately tan/smiley wives and girlfriends of Australian sporting heroes is set to premiere later this year but for those who’d prefer acknowledgment as someone’s wife or girlfriend over, you know, the unique qualities that make us individuals, the five person cast was unveiled last week. Joining the already-announced Terry Biviano, shoe designer and fiance to Sydney Roosters fullback Anthony Minichiello is events planner Lynette Bolton, wife of Sydney Swans midfielder Jude Bolton, Jackie Spong a boutique owner and finance to Carlton Blues player Jarrad Waite, Jana Peterson a promotions manager, former Miss Universe Australia finalist and girlfriend to Cronulla Sharks player John Williams and Chantelle Raleigh a flight attendant and girlfriend to Gold Coast Blaze player Adam Gibson.
The ten part series is said to detail their daily lives, the ways in which they support their significant others, how they balance their relationships with their careers and how to navigate the treacherous world of WAG social hierarchy. #first #world #problems
“We all know Australians are sports mad, but it seems they’re just as ‘WAG’ crazy!
