If there’s one tried and true good thing about the internet it’s when Jimmy Kimmel makes celebrities read mean tweets about themselves on camera. Nothing like a good ol’ session of bringing celebs down a peg to make you feel alive (and also snort your afternoon earl grey straight out your nose.)
It’s great, you get to see the split second where someone’s words – that they thought would never be actually read – hit the celeb right in the guts and they’ve only got a few options to respond: shrug it off, clap back, or laugh at just house fucking ridiculous it is to tweet about someone you don’t know. Some take it spectacularly, others well…they look like you’ve just taken their favourite toy off them and kicked it into next door’s yard.
The fifth instalment of Mean Tweets – Music Edition is here with us and this one features some scathingly mean tweets from passionate music fans who absolutely do NOT like Gwen Stefani, KoRn, The Strokes, Imagine Dragons, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, or Nickelback.
Honestly I don’t know how they picked the one for Nickelback but it’s PERFECT.
