Bachelor beauties Matty Johnson and Laura Byrne have celebrated the arrival of their first bub, a daughter named Marlie-Mae.

The recently engaged couple announced the news on social media this evening, each sharing extremely adorable pictures of the tiny cherub.
“Welcome to the world you divine little slice of human pudding,” Laura wrote, adding they named their daughter after Nana. “You’re more than we could have ever hoped for.”
The wee bub was born yesterday, June 19.

In his post, Matty wrote: “Still letting the last 24hrs sink in.. they’ve been the most rewarding, loving and emotional I’ve ever experienced.”
He continued: “@ladyandacat you did the most incredible job bringing out little girl Marlie-Mae Rose Johnson into the world. Becoming a Dad was better than I ever could have imagined.”
The pair got engaged back in April, after Matty popped the question during a dreamy as hell holiday in Fiji. The ridiculously attractive couple met on season five of The Bachelor Australia.

Meanwhile, the other Matt – Matt Agnew – will commence his journey as the 2019 bachelor later this year. Ads for the astrophysicist’s season on the reality TV show have already popped up on telly so it’ll probably premiere at some point after Masterchef.
In an interview with 10Daily, the handsome bloke explained that it was time to settle down.
“I’m at a stage in my life where I’m established in my career, I own my own home and finding someone to share my life with would make it the trifecta,” he said.
