The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras pinnacle is upon us, everyone – the day of the parade, which has become synonymous with the biggest celebration of the Mardi Gras period. It’s the day where we all come together and wear as little clothing as possible, coating ourselves in (environmentally-friendly) glitter and fake tan – glitter that will appear in our beds/cars/deep dark recesses of our bodies for months to come.

It’s no secret that Mardi Gras is often preceded by weeks, sometimes MONTHS of preparation – be it honing your bod to it’s most ripped state, or hoarding decor/costume options until you have to exile your pet for a few weeks because there’s just no room in the inn, frankly.
