Lili Reinhart Blasts Fans For Bullying Shannon Purser After Recent ‘Riverdale’ Ep

FYI Lili Reinhart won’t stand for fans bullying her mates and co-stars so don’t even try it, ya hear?

Following a recent episode of Riverdale where Ethel (Shannon Purser) told Jughead (Cole Sprouse) that he had to kiss her in order to get the “scripture” for G&G, a bunch of online haters went after Purser, mistaking her for the FICTIONAL character.

I have no idea how you can be stupid enough to not be able to make that distinction, but here we are.

A Riverdale fan account tweeted fans to stop bullying the poor gal:

“Your daily reminder that bullying a cast member over a FICTIONAL ship is never ok. Please get a grip on reality.”

Reinhart spotted the tweet and shared it, writing:

“Adding to that. Shannon is my friend, and it is embarrassing that people felt the need to attack her personally for something that happened on a SHOW. Written by WRITERS. You are not a fan of mine if you treat my friend like this.”

Props to Lili for not only standing up for her friend and spreading the message that bullying is not okay, but for also letting fans know that she literally wants nothing to do with them if they’re bullies.

Keep doing you, sis.
