Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse are still together – and Us Weekly is potentially looking for a hitman to handle the “multiple sources” who said otherwise.

At least, that’s what we can infer from the couple’s latest Instagram posts, which suggest they are still a couple.
Following this week’s allegations that they had split after two years of dating, Reinhart and Sprouse both shared a peek at their new W Magazine cover early this morning.
“BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know shit,” Reinhart wrote in her caption.
“UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult,” Sprouse said in his.

Their costars, including Camila Mendes and Casey Cott, have commented with their approval on Reinhart’s post.
The announcement comes after no small amount of speculation stirred by Us Weekly, who reported that several sources saw the two stars generally avoiding each other at Comic Con parties.
All of that is muddied by W Magazine itself. Writer David Amsden admitted Reinhart and Sprouse “did not want to be interviewed together as, well, an actual couple,” and dropped this nugget:
She alluded, briefly, to the potential logistical dilemma of them parting ways, though in the context of their fictional romance. “If and when we break up on the show, I don’t know,” she said, trailing off. “It’s weird being with an actor. You deal with shit no one has to deal with.”
And:
“Luckily, I love the people I work with. I can’t imagine how miserable I’d be if I hated them.” Maybe I was reading between the lines—and, who knows, maybe Reinhart wanted me to—but I couldn’t help but think she was talking about one person in particular.
