Reinhart recounts arriving at an undisclosed airport over the weekend where she was ushered to a vehicle by someone pretending to be a professional car service driver.

Upon getting into the vehicle, she noticed that there were no official Uber or Lyft stickers to be seen in his window which set off red flags in her head and she refused to get into his car.

“PSA: I was just ushered to a car by someone posing to be an airport cab/Uber driver,” she tweeted. “I got to his car and there were absolutely no signs that he was a professional service driver.”

She goes on to warn her millions of impressionable young followers to “pay attention and make smart decisions”, particularly when it comes to transportation, and to not worry about “being rude” as your safety always comes first.

“Please pay attention and make smart decisions out there. Seriously. Please be careful out there. You don’t have to be nice or worry about being rude. Trust your gut. It could save you.”

Reinhart plays Betty Cooper on The CW’s teen drama Riverdale, based on the Archie comic-book series.

Riverdale is currently in its third season, where Chad Michael Murray has joined the cast as a cult leader.

In real life, Reinhart is reportedly dating co-star Cole Sprouse.
