A Moment Of Silence For The Weaves Snatched By Lady Gaga’s Vegas Residency Teaser

Lady Gaga Vegas

Although she’s still riding the A Star Is Born high, what with all the recent award nominations, Lady Gaga has proven that there’s no rest for the wicked as she’s chameleoned out of her acting career and back into her singing career by kicking off her Las Vegas residency.

Hours before the singer was set to begin her first show, she dropped an extremely bizarre video on her Twitter which she named, ‘ENIGMA’, which is also the name of the show.

“Hello?” A mysterious voice says in the darkness before a strange, Final Fantasy-esque female character appears, surrounded by stars and lights.

The character hurtles through the galaxy, saying “Enigma!” and “Gaga!”, before exclaiming “What is happening to me?”

A blue alien then rocks up and says, “Hello Gaga,” while reaching its hand out, perhaps insinuating that the previous character was Gaga in her cartoon self… maybe? I honestly have no idea, she’s provided no context here as to the theme of the show or who these characters are but my guess is that perhaps it’ll be v. futuristic and otherworldly and honestly, I don’t hate it!

My fellow Little Monsters (Lady Gaga fans, for those who aren’t in the know) are reeling from the loss of their weaves as a result of the teaser for a show which has been described by Us Weekly as “insane”.

“It’s super high-energy and has a ton of innovative production elements,” a source told the publication. “She’s going to kick ass and take names with this residency. Vegas hasn’t seen anything like this.”

As for the setlist, the sneaky insider reveals that it will include “a ton of greatest hits” along with “a few fan favourites.”

Here’s what the fans had to say about the teaser vid:

Back in December 2017, the singer announced that she was joining the likes of Celine Dion and Britney Spears with a Vegas residency.

“I can’t wait to share Enigma with all of my fans and with Las Vegas,” the six-time Grammy winner later said in a statement. “We’re creating a show unlike anything I’ve done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us. The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity, love and music.”

Gaga: does anything.
