Kyle Sandilands Pulls A Kyle Sandilands, Throws Shade At Hamish & Andy

In news that will shock approximately nobody, radio host Kyle Sandilands has taken to the airwaves to say something obnoxious, after receiving an unnecessary ego-boost when nominations were announced yesterday in the 2017 Australian Commercial Radio Awards.

Kyle and co-host Jackie O were nominated for nine awards, and after boasting about their achievement, “that’s like Adele at The Grammys“, Sandilands went on to display his usual charm by giving rare thanks to the rest of the people that make the show happen.

I don’t often congratulate you guys because I think your remuneration is thanks enough. You get paid for a job that you do, why go around arse licking, pat everyone on the head every five seconds?”

But he didn’t stop there of course, asking which other radio shows were nominated for multiple awards. When told that beloved duo Hamish & Andy had received two (they received four), he made sure to get a boot in.

Yeah well, they deserve two. They are prerecorded most of the time and they’ve thrown the hat in.”

The shade of it all.

Jackie O then pointed out that the boys were leaving radio at the end of 2017 after an incredibly successful run, which somehow completely baffled Kyle’s huge brain.

Isn’t it weird though? That we’ve been around for so long and we’ve seen so many shows come and go, why would you ever leave radio?

We don’t know Kyle, it’s almost like people might have different opinions and desires to yours. It must be hard to imagine when you are missing the empathy chip most humans are born with, but try your best. He then wrapped up the whole thing by saying that he had never seen Hamish & Andy’s TV show ‘True Story’, and it seems he probably won’t.

I could think of nothing worse than having some boring lady sit down and tell me a story and then they cutaway with some B-list actors redoing it. I avoid those stories at BBQ’s let alone sitting down watching them on TV.

We are sure Hamish & Andy will be crying themselves to sleep.
