Kim Kardashian Has Responded To The Leaked Phone Call Shitshow With A Dig At Taylor Swift

Kim Kardashian has ~finally~ offered some form of retaliation after the full phone convo between her husband Kanye West and one Taylor Swift leaked.

Us Weekly reports that Kardashian liked a tweet that read, “The video showed nothing new. We all knew that. I’m so confused right now,” implying that she believes the video does not, in fact, vindicate Swift, and that her historic take-down campaign still applies.

Whatever, sis.

According to the Daily Mail, Swift previously offered her own response to the scandal by liking a Tumblr post that read, “Taylor told the truth moodboard,” and another post that read, “How I sleep at night knowing we were right all this time and now we have the receipts to prove it,” and a third one that read, “WHO WAS TELLING THE TRUTH THE ENTIRE TIME???”

The full video, released over the weekend, tells a different story to the one that Kimye tried to paint way back when.

It does show Kanye asking Taylor Swift to approve a lyric, but it’s not the one that ended up on the album, and does not include the line “I made that bitch famous.”

Variety published a transcript of the phone call, and ‘Famous’ is discussed early on.

Kanye says he’s going to be releasing some real “Apple, Steve Jobs-type music”, and asks Taylor to tweet ‘Famous’ out on launch day, while mentioning that it includes a “controversial” line about her.

When she asks what this line is, he skates around it for a minute, name-dropping famous colleagues and talking about his creative process. After all the build-up, she asks sadly if the line is going to be “mean”.

He finally tells her that the line is “I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex”, and she seems relieved, that the line is not as “mean” as she thought it would be. She later says:

“I’m glad it’s not mean, though. It doesn’t feel mean. But oh my God, the buildup you gave it, I thought it was going to be like, “That stupid, dumb bitch.” But it’s not. So I don’t know. I mean, the launch thing, I think it would be kind of confusing to people. But I definitely like… I definitely think that when I’m asked about it, of course I’ll be like, “Yeah, I love that. I think it’s hilarious.” But, um, I need to think about it.”

Hiss hiss, bitch.
