‘Killing Eve’ Season 3 Has Just Been Fast-Tracked For Your Quarantine Binge-Watch Enjoyment

Killing Eve is back three weeks early, so now you have something to look forward to during your time in self-isolation.

The premiere has been moved froward by three weeks to Sunday, April 12, in the US, with seven more episodes to follow.

In season 3, Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and Eve (Sandra Oh) are trying to move on with their lives. Assassin Villanelle believes that ex-MI6 operative Eve is all but dead, while Eve believes that Villanelle will never find her. In the trailer, we even see Villanelle performing as a clown at a child’s birthday party.

That’s until a shocking personal death crosses their paths once more, costing them their friends, family and souls.

“This season of Killing Eve digs deep psychologically, and with actors like Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw the results are nothing short of astonishing,” said Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios.

“We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now,” she added. With people cooped up at home running out of thing to watch, this news is a godsend and the episodes could not come soon enough.

The spy thriller has already nabbed a swag of BAFTAs and other awards, while Oh and Comer have scored an Emmy and Golden Globe for their respective performances.

In Australia, season 1 of Killing Eve is currently on Stan and season 2 is on ABC iView.

It’s just as well Eve from Killing Eve has not, you know, actually been killed yet.
