Yesterday, it was revealed that the iconic, long-running love affair between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had ended as the reality star was in search of a divorce lawyer.
A source told People that Kim “has had enough” and “wants some space to figure out her future.”
Now, their neighbour, comedian Kathy Griffin, has spilled some tea about their tumultuous relationship.
Taking to Twitter, Griffin wrote: “I think she really tried,” Kathy wrote. “Truly loves him.”
“I like her. He certainly isn’t the devil or anything, but I believe she tried everything to make it work,” she said, adding: “He made her laugh a lot and she embraced his eccentricities.”

And Kathy would know, too, ‘cos she’s actually really good mates with Kim Kardashian and Kanye. In addition to being neighbours, when Kathy got married last year, she called Kim her “maid of honour.”
Yesterday, multiple sources, whoever they are, told Page Six that a “divorce is imminent”. Kardashian has even reportedly hired famed Hollywood divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, whose previous clients include Angeline Jolie, Heidi Klum, Ashton Kutcher, Ryan Reynolds, and Christina Aguilera.
She also handled Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries.
Net-A-Porter called Wasser “Hollywood’s Divorce Queen”.
One source told Page Six: “They are keeping it [the divorce] low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”
A seperate source said Kanye had just had enough of Kim Kardashian and her famous fam.
“[He’s] completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them,” the source said, adding that he found the family’s reality TV show “unbearable.”
Kanye apparently attended Kardashian’s massive 40th birthday on a private island for just one day, before flying back out.
“He showed up late and left early, he wouldn’t appear in any of their Instagram shots. All he did was bring over the hologram of her father Robert Kardashian, then got out of there as fast as he could,” the source said.
Page Six reports Kim had also grown tired of West’s bid to become president.
“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president … she’s just had enough of it,” its source said.
