Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough are set to tie the knot in a lavish wedding in Mexico on December 8, and though information about the event is fairly scant, details of the guest list have been revealed today, and as expected, it includes some very big names.
In a piece published today by Fairfax, it was revealed that Yarbrough was determined to have a big wedding – because “she’s from Queensland”, whatever the heck that means – so there will be seven bridesmaids and a total of 200 guests on the big day.
Peter and Tom Stefanovic will join their brother Karl as groomsmen, along with close friend James Packer, who recently bought a parcel of land in Cabo San Lucas, not far from the wedding venue, and is in the process of building a house there.
Georgie Gardner, who co-hosts Today with Karl Stefanovic, has reportedly been invited, although it’s unclear if she will attend. Other guests will include Richard Wilkins and his son Christian, Shane Warne, Alan Jones, former deputy PM Julie Bishop and her partner David Panton.
The big event is set to be held at the luxurious One and Only Palmilla Resort in San José del Cabo. They have reportedly booked two villas for several days, each at a cost of around $12,000-$15,000 per night.
It is understood that Stefanovic and Yarbrough completed the formalities of their marriage some time ago, and this will be a party for friends to celebrate the marriage.
