Well, 2021 is certainly off to a batshit start, isn’t it? After it was reported that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting a divorce, all kinds of rumours have begun circulating, including one particularly wild one that claims the rapper is dating, wait for it, beauty blogger Jeffree Star.
The rumour was first circulated by TikTok star Ava Louise who shared a video claiming that she had insider information about Kanye and the fact that he is supposedly hooking up with Jeffree.

In her video, Louise said that she’s been holding on to the information “for months” and claimed that Kanye West is hooking up with “a very famous beauty guru — male beauty guru.”
“My source is legit I [promise],” she added in her caption. Sure, Jan.
Absolutely LOVING the sudden attention, Star then fanned the rumours by posting a pic with the caption, “I’m ready for Sunday Service,” an obvious nod to Ye’s infamous Sunday Service performances.
Star has since denied having anything to do with Kanye West in a new video. In the vid, he reads a headline about the rumour and says “I cant.”
“Some girl made up a whole ‘lie’ on TikTok because she insinuates that Kim and Kanye are getting a divorce because he’s sleeping with a big beauty influencer on TikTok,” he said.
“This is so weird, I have all these news people texting me saying, ‘What do you have to say about this?’
‘I’m like, about what? I’m sleeping with anyone. I’m single.”
He concludes by saying, “I like very tall men. Me and Kanye have never hung out and this whole thing is very funny.”

An even wilder plot twist is the fact that the girl who invented the rumour is the chick who once went viral for licking a toilet seat during COVID.
She’s also appeared on Dr. Phil in a viral segment where she said she’d rather “die hot than live ugly.”
During the ep, she discussed her Instagram addiction, admitting that her main goal in life is “to become Insta-famous.” She also said she only wants friends who give her clout and set her up with cool shit like backstage access to VIP events.
She later appeared on Dr. Phil once again to discuss the aforementioned toilet-licking incident.

Listen, I love me a celebrity conspiracy theory more than the next person (especially one involving Kim and Kanye West), but in the words of Alec Baldwin, the man at the centre of one of 2021’s other INSANE controversies: “Consider the source.”
