Unless you’ve been living under a large and tightly secured rock, there’s a slight chance that you might have heard that the Super Bowl was on today. I know right? Why did no one mention it?!
In addition to seeing a tense game of v muscular men throwing around a ball, we’re also treated to some of the best memes of the year. Do I even need to mention the iconic Left Shark from 2015’s Super Bowl?
Well, this year’s iteration was no different and Justin Timberlake‘s halftime performance may have just uncovered one of the spiciest memes of the year.
Towards the end of his halftime show, Timberlake made his way up to the stands to mingle with the fans and finish off his medley. He stopped right next to one unsuspecting punter, who seemed to have no idea that he was about to become a living meme.
He’s clearly having a grand time, but also kind of looks like me when a song comes on that my friends love but I don’t know the lyrics to.
This fella is obviously fanging for a selfie from the man himself, but his awkward limbo between getting his phone ready and taking the photo has really struck a chord with the internet… and that chord is memes.
