Canadian national and known burnout enthusiast and egg-throwing aficionado, Justin Bieber, is allegedly being investigated in regards to an attempted robbery, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LA Times reports that the alleged incident took place on Monday, US time, at around 10:30pm in the area of the San Fernando Valley.
LAPD spokespeople confirmed the investigation, and noted that they have not questioned the pop singer over the incident as of yet. Bieber was, as of a few hours ago, in Oklahoma City attending game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Semi-Finals between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Whether the report is the result of a rookie cop mistakingly taking a fan’s insistence that Bieber stole their heart seriously remains to be seen.
