Well, well, well, what do we have here? Our new Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson has starred in his first (cheesy as fuck) promo for the 2021 season. But, more importantly, his Instagram is no longer on private. You know what that means? It’s time for a bit of a cheeky scroll.
As you may have guessed from the theme of the promo, Jimmy is an airline pilot. Love is in the air, and so and so forth.
Way back when Jimmy was first announced as the new Bachelor, the 31-year-old said he is a big believer in embracing any opportunity when it presents itself.
“Especially if it has the potential to change your life for the better,” he added.
“The journey ahead will be one of the most challenging experiences that I have ever undertaken, however I am very excited to meet someone that I could potentially spend the rest of my life with.”
Unlike our last Bachelor, Locky Gilbert, Jimmy is pretty new to the reality TV scene, so we don’t know much about him. Based on his Instagram, though, I can see why Channel 10 thought he’d make a great Bachie.
Is he hot? Clearly.
Been around the block? Obviously.
Involved in some sort of extra-curricular activity that will make for good b-roll fodder? Yes.
Family man? Sure looks like it.
Living his best life, but missing that something special? I guess so.

While Channel 10 hasn’t revealed the bachelorettes just yet, we did cop a lil’ sneak peek at one of the women vying for Jimmy’s heart in a separate promo.
One of Jimmy’s girlfriends pops up around the 14-second mark of this ad, which also includes snippets of the upcoming seasons of Australian Survivor and The Masked Singer. Love a little bit of everything.
Okay, I can’t be sure if the woman on the red carpet is an actual flight attendant, but she sure has the voice for it.
Channel 10 has yet to announce an official premiere date for the all-new season of The Bachelor, but we reckon we’re pretty close to nailing down when it will be. Check out our deep dive investigation right HERE.
