In some incredibly sweet news, Jason Momoa – star of that y’huge blockbuster hit Aquaman – has revealed his two little munchkins make a cameo in the film.

Momoa has two children with his wife Lisa Bonet. There’s 11-year-old Lola lolani Momoa and nine-year-old Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.
Chatting to Entertainment Weekly, Momoa thought his kids’ cameo in the movie had been cut. So naturally, they were the ones to confront director James Wan about it.
“My daughter rolled up like, ‘You cut us out of the movie?’” he told EW.
Terrified, Wan replied: “No, no, no, no, no you’re back in the movie!”
Too easy.
The DC movie, which stars the big unit in the titular role, introduces us to half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry as he learns he is the heir to underwater kingdom Atlantis.
Last year when filming was still in progress, Momoa shared this adorable family photo with the caption: “‘I simply love you more than I love life itself’ listening to Elton with the loves of my life. Raising sensitive savages Priceless day on set proud to be aqua papa. OHANA.”

The rest of the fab cast includes Amber Heard as Mera, Aquaman’s fierce warrior ally; William Dafoe as Vulko, council to the Atlantean throne; The Conjuring‘s Patrick Wilson as the present King of Atlantis AKA Orm/Ocean Master; big dude Dolph Lundgren as Nereus; and our very own Nicole Kidman as Arthur’s mama Atlanna.
Then, there’s also the Julie Andrews who has a major voice role in the film as the Karathen, a mythical deep sea creature who has the almighty power to help Arthur unite Atlantis and the surface world.
Back to life on set, Momoa told EW that his kids would dare Heard to eat the spiciest stuff around when they found out she had a stronnnngg spice tolerance.
“She’s from Texas,” he explained. “My kids would just dump every hot thing in it and she would eat it.”
Aquaman will fly into Aussie cinemas, December 26.
