Editor in chief Laura Brown revealed the cover on Instagram earlier today, with the fabulous and funny pair billed as ‘The Subversives‘.

“These ‘subversives’ show (via activism with Jameela, humor with Celeste) that an over-filtered, deprivational idea of beauty is not that hot,” said Brown.

You can go ahead and check out the cover below:

Jameela Jamil is best known for her role on The Good Place, while Celeste Barber has become a bona fide superstar by posting own her more down-to-earth parodies of glossy celebrity images.

In the accompanying interview, the pair talk about how they became friends, and and about how social media influences people, for better an worse. Barber said of her own Instagram:

“I don’t follow any of the Kardashians, but I know if there’s a good photo for me to do a parody of them, about 10,000 people will send it to me in a day. People will say to me, “If you’re a real feminist, you should say that people can’t talk about that model or celebrity that way.”

“But that particular person I’m parodying has a multibillion-dollar industry behind her, supporting her, loving her, telling her everything she’s doing right. I’m just a girl who is fighting against that. I’m all right if people are like, “Oh, well, that’s not very nice.” The people I parody are OK with it. They are usually onboard. So, if they like it, I’m fine.”

Brown also posted a behind the scenes video of Jameela Jamil and Celeste Barber’s shoot, which you can see below:
