Amy Schumer took home her first, extremely well-deserved Emmy award last night, and in the flood of congratulations that followed, she received a text from new BFF and all-round pretty delightful individual Jennifer Lawrence.
“Jennifer sent me a sweet text,” Schumer told Entertainment Tonight while basking in the glow of victory backstage at the ceremony. “She said that I looked pretty but not smart.” YOU GUYS.
Schumer said that Lawrence is “real-deal funny” and added “my sister and Jen and I wrote a movie together so we’re gonna hopefully be shooting that in a year or something. We’re busy.”
The comedian previously said that writing a movie with J-Law has been “the most fun experience” of her life. We await their future cinematic collaboration with every fibre of our being.
