It’s Great To See Bryan Cranston Back In A Boiler Suit For The First ‘Godzilla’ Trailer

Maybe it’s the air conditioning in here, or my low threshold for big budget movies with a cast boasting a crying Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, but I got a severe case of The Chills watching the low visibility, high stakes and largely dialogue free first trailer for director Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla remake.
The film bills itself as “An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, [a] spectacular adventure [that] pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence” and also starts the endlessly charming Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Ken Watanabe opposite the age old battle between mankind’s hubris and giant lizards.

Godzilla opens in cinemas May 15th, 2014.
