Hell Yes: Julia Morris Made A Savage Dig At Ousted I’m A Celeb Contestant Pete Evans Last Night

The revamped season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has arrived and we finally know which celebs have signed on to immerse themselves in creepy crawlies, all for the good of entertainment.

One such celeb is TV chef Colin Fassnidge, who you’ll remember as ousted contestant Pete Evans’ co-star on My Kitchen Rules.

During last night’s ep, host Julia Morris made a savage dig at Evans, who was booted from the show after sharing neo-Nazi symbols on his Instagram

After asking if it was “Bono from U2” or “Qantas CEO Alan Joyce,” Morris poked fun at the booted chef, saying: “Oh, you know who it is? It’s celebrity chef Pete Evans putting on an Irish accent.”

As her co-host Dr. Chris Brown cackled, she said: “Who wants some veggies? Top of the morning!”

It comes after Morris said she’ll be “very cross” if Channel 10 haven’t approached the controversial chef to appear on the show.

“Surely at a minimum there’s been a conversation,” she said on Nova FM’s Fitzy and Wippa.

“I mean, I personally have approached the man on many occasions but vegan dessert is not really for me,” she said.

Pete Evans was reportedly “furious” when he learned that he had been axed from I’m A Celeb.

TV Blackbox’s Rob McKnight appeared on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa where he claimed that the controversial telly personality was dumped by Ten at 6.30 in the AM.

“This morning at 6:30am the call came through from [ViacomCBS Australia and New Zealand chief content officer] Bev McGarvey to the ITV production house and she said, ‘He’s out! Do not let him go into the jungle’,” he said at the time.

Rob said that Pete was then “packing up his bags and returning to Byron Bay and he is apparently furious.” Rightly so, I reckon.

I’m A Celeb continues tonight on Ten at 7:30pm.
