Award winning marsupial method actor Hugh Jackman took his MC duties to some bizarre new heights at the Tony Awards in NYC last night. 
But not one set piece he performed was as retroactively embarrassing for everyone involved as when he pinpointed the birth of hip hop to Broadway composer Meredith Wilson, who “might have actually created one of the very first rap songs ever back in 1957,” before rapping lines from Wilson’s The Music Man alongside two guys whose managers thought it would be a good idea at the time, T.I. and LL Cool J
