Hugh Jackman And His Mullet Will Star In The New Neill Blomkamp Film


Hugh JackmanHuge Jacked Man with angelic singing voice and a ballooning portfolio of iconic hair roles, is currently in South Africa somewhere to headline the latest project from acclaimed South African science fiction auteur Neill Blomkamp, Chappie. Though Jackman’s character’s details are scant at this point (his name is Vincent, that’s all we know) the actor revealed a minor cosmetic detail on his Instagram account last night and boy is it IMPORTANT. He has a mullet. 
“Day 1 on Chappie! Vincent is born, rocking the mullet. Working with Neill Blomkamp in SA. This film is rad,” he said of sporting the iconic/repulsive follicle imbalance preferred by 1980s AFL players and washed up rock stars with debilitating cocaine addictions.  
   
Slated for release in 2015, the film follows a gifted young robot named Chappie (voiced by Blomkamp regular Sharlto Copley) who after being stolen at birth becomes the adopted son of a “strange and dysfunctional” family unit.
