Holy Bare-Knuckle Boxing, Rupert Grint’s Gonna Be In The ‘Snatch’ TV Reboot

At the beginning of this year, we delivered you the devastating but sort of intriguing news that Sony streaming service Crackle has decided to attempt a recreation of Guy Ritchie‘s iconic British gangster film, ‘Snatch‘.
And tell you what, you lot were angrier than Bullet-Tooth Tony when someone refuses to play ‘Lucky Star’ by Madonna
This is how they described their new series:
“Crackle will carry the spirit of the setting in the original feature film, while creating a new world born from the original movie.

Informed by a real life gold bullion heist in London, the show centres on a group of twenty-something, up and coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organised crime.

The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.”
And now we have more news, and truly, we’re not quite sure if y’all are gonna be happy or angry.
Because – and stick with us here – Rupert Grint has been announced as being part of the periwinkle blue fun.
That’s right! Ron Weasley‘s gonna be boxin’, findin’ diamonds, or perhaps gettin’ fed to the pigs (who can devour bone like it’s butter).
Other cast members announced include Dougray Scott from ‘The Walking Dead’, and Ed Westwick from ‘Gossip Girl’
Grint will play a chaotic but super posh con man called Charlie Cavendish. Scott plays Vic Hill, a prisoner who’s still very much running a con game from inside, and Westwick plays a nightclub owner named Sonny Castillo.
Production is starting soon, and we’ll be seeing the ‘Snatch’ telly series in 2017.
