Harrison 2.0: Here’s The Guy Who’ll Play Young Han Solo In The Origin Film

Holy shit.

We were told that we we’re going to get a ‘Star Wars‘ movie every year, and finally the Han Solo origin story film is coming to fruition.
Literally thousands of actors were considered to play a baby Harrison Ford finding his way into his noble trade as a smuggler, includes Miles Teller, Dave Franco, and ‘Kingsman’‘s Taron Egerton.
But someone’s finally been chosen.
Meet Alden Ehrenreich!
The film will focus on young Han, before he joined the Rebel Alliance
According to producer Lawrence Kasdan, who co-wrote ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, ‘Return of the Jedi’ and ‘The Force Awakens’:
“It will not be, ‘Here’s where he was born and this is how he was raised.’ I think what it will be is, ‘What was he like 10 years earlier?’ .?.?. But Akira Kurosawa once said the heroes are the ones that are still changing and the villains are locked and petrified into what they are.”
The Han Solo film is slated for 2018, but casting has happened extremely early because the young Solo will allegedly have a cameo in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, which is shooting now.
