Alden Ehrenreich Lets Slip That He’s Signed On To Play Han For Another 2 Movies

Good news if you like the look of Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story: he’s apparently locked in for another two movies. This is, of course, bad news if you did not like the look of him.

Speaking to Alex Pappademas in an interview for an Esquire cover story, Ehrenreich succumbed to some incredibly low-level interrogation:

I ask Ehrenreich how many he’s signed up for. “Three,” he says, then flinches, understanding he may have just created a disturbance in the Force. “I don’t know if that’s officially, uh, public. But—yeah.”

Good work there, buddy. You really held up under pressure.

Despite the unfortunate sacking of the wonderfully good and talented Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the movie still looks like it will be a wild ride, even if only on the strength of Donald Glover‘s facial hair.

It’s comforting to know that we will apparently be getting at least one Star Wars movie a year until we die.
