GOODBYE LIFE: ‘Straya Will Soon Have An All-Reality Version Of Netflix

Spending your Sunday melting on the couch with your finger hovering over the Menulog re-order button as you wait for that one dirty pizza joint to start delivery for the day just got marginally easier.

NBCUniversal International just dropped a bombshell on the streaming media game, announcing that they’re going up against Netflix, Stan, and Presto with their very own brand-new service. But there’s a twist. A big one.
It’s going to be all Reality TV.
Nothing else. Just reality. All reality. All the time.
Hayu (which we hope is a modern tech way of spelling “Hey you“) will arrive in Australia, the UK, and Ireland in March, bringing with it reality content from the NBCUniversal library.
The service is boasting a day-one content list of “over 3,000 episodes” from a raft of different shows, which includes the likes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Real Housewives, Made in Chelsea, and Millionaire Matchmaker.
New shows and new episodes of existing shows are set to become available on Hayu on the same day as their US launch, bridging the content gap between America and here.
The service will be available across multiple platforms – your computer, phone, tablet, smart TV, etc.
And all this for the LOW, LOW PRICE of $5.99 per month, with a free one-month trial offer attached.
You can get around all the vital pre-launch details by dropping by Hayu for a quick look.
